Clinical study element
- We pay for bespoke NPA run off-site training days and mock exam to learn and to meet the other pre-regs. This also includes
- NPA webinars,
- e-learning modules
- NPA tutor support in addition to your supervisor and DPP support

Prescribing element
- Trainees are individually supported by a Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP)
- We are partnering with local hospitals and GPs to provide a variety of prescribing settings.
- We were one of the first prescribing pharmacies with over 10 years' experience starting with pre-pilot work in the Swindon area.
A varied on the job programme to enable you to:
- Be tutored and mentored by a highly experienced Pharmacist Manager, whilst working in branches on the high street, in health centres or in residential areas
- Gain valuable experience of community pharmacy in a friendly working environment
- Train alongside other experienced full-time dispensary and counter staff.
- Be fully involved in providing all the pharmacy services, including provision of advice and product recommendations to patients who present at the counter with minor ailments.
- Experience a broad range of dispensing (electronic prescriptions, NHS & private & veterinary, repeat dispensing, CDs and dossett boxes)
- Experience and learn how to provide NMS, CPCS, Flu vaccination, Smoking Cessation, Supervised Methadone Consumption and Needle Exchange. You'll also learn how to operate a Healthy Living Pharmacy.
Opportunity to rotate through our other branches to experience:
- Travel clinics
- Prescribing pharmacist clinics
- Other prescribing environments e.g. GPs and hospitals
- Care home dispensing
Salary and working pattern:
- Salary £26,000 / year
- 20% Staff discount
- 5 day working week (Monday - Friday)
- 4 weeks paid annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- The opportunity to stay with the company after completion of your trainee year.
