The NHS flu vaccination is available FREE to eligible people aged 18 and over, these include pregnant women, carers, social care workers and those with certain medical conditions.
Our specialist pharmacist will conduct a short consultation and a questionnaire and may be able to provide a free NHS flu jab if you are registered with a GP in England or Wales, are aged 18 or over and you:
NHS flu vaccination available to those:
- over 50
or those with the following conditions / circumstances
- Chronic Respiratory Disease
- Chronic Heart Disease
- Chronic Kidney Disease
- Chronic Liver Disease
- Chronic Neurological Disease
- Pregnancy (any stage)
- Morbid obesity (BMI of 40 or above)
- Immune disorders (Immunosuppressed)
- Asplenia / Dysfunction of the spleen
- Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 or Diet alone)
- Main Carer / Receipt of carers’ allowance
- Person in long-stay residential home / facility
- Household contact of immunocompromised /shielding patient
